This 90-minute instructor-led session where you'll explore a chat-bot app built with NVIDIA NeMo for training, safety and optimization, and NVIDIA NIM GPU-accelerated inference microservices for AI models. Learn how to use NeMo Agent Toolkit for coordinating and profiling agent workflows; and NeMo Guardrails to keep agentic AI applications reliable and aligned.

With Dynatrace monitoring, you'll track real-time performance and cost, follow end-to-end traces from prompt to response, and find the root cause of errors across the LLM chain and connected services. Each component is introduced clearly and used hands-on so you can repeat the steps in your own environment.

Setup#

🔧 Start GitHub Codespace#

  1. Github Login

    Login and if you do not have a GitHub ID, then Signup and then login.

  2. Start codespace

    From this repo, startup a codespace environment with the new with options option. Critcal to enter the WORKSHOP_PASSWORD provided by the insructor.

  3. Verify Start codespace

    This will take a few minutes to complete and will perform the following: * Retrieve and save required environment settings * Start an OpenTelemetry collector * Create Python virtual environment and install Python dependencies * Start the sample web app

    Once codespace is completed the startup, you should see this:

  4. View app in browser

    The app will be available by a URL that is proxied by GitHub codespaces. For example, the URL may look like this https://fluffy-garbanzo-xrvxjrwpx753vwx-8501.app.github.dev

🚀 Run the Application locally using Python#

If you need to restart the sample App, then run the following commands

cd /workspaces/demo-agentic-ai-with-nvidia
source .venv/bin/activate
streamlit run app/app.py
